LAUTECH student leads #EFCC operatives to arrest 24 others (Photos & list)

Operatives of the Advance Fee Fraud Unit of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Headquarters, have detained 25 pupils of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, due to their allege participation in a variety of kinds of cybercrime including love scam, and love scam, and possession of forged papers, and obtaining money by false pretence.

Were detained after a raid performed between September 16 and 19, 2019, at their hostels. .

Intelligence report, that was researched using equipment was acted on by operatives. The raid followed weeks of observation and surveillance .

In the course of executing the research Ismail, who confessed to participate in fraud, took around hostels that were operatives . .

A few of the suspects that jumped over the fence were nabbed from the procedure.

A few of the things recovered from them, that are thought to be the profits of their illegal actions on the web, comprise, a 4matic Benz, a Toyota Camry, a Toyota Corolla, two Macbook computers, 2 iPads, two iPhones and several different files, which is subjected to forensic investigation.
