Robbery forcing our children into cultism "Anambra elders cries out"

Elders on Tuesday, of this Isiagu community at the Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, stated robberies in the region had forced their kids so as to fight the menace, to join cults.

In their speeches, Ifeanyi Okeke, Nnebedum Samuel and Messrs Ifeatu Ezeugo called on the state and national authorities in addition to law enforcement agencies to rescue them out of nights.

Ezeugo said,"The tragic tendency, that has continued unabated from the area, has compelled a number of our kids to join cults in order to shield the community.

Men in Isiagu are robbing the neighborhood are out of here, but sponsoring the folks about the pretext of a leadership tussle. The Isiagu community has been more than six decades no advancement for within this situation.

Our kids from the Diaspora come home on account of this fear of being assaulted robbers or by cultists.

Ezeugo clarified that the robbers with weapons, they readily use to violate the gates of both buildings and stores were burgling many stores.

Our correspondent had signs of burglaries and transformers, amongst others and gathered that the neighborhood was invaded.

When contacted, the police spokesperson Haruna Mohammed, from the nation, said no complaints were reported to the authorities.
